• Fortifying against collapse: China's President Xi Jinping realises that the West will try everything to bring about the collapse of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The counter he has in mind is promoting nationalism, and fortifying the CCP's monopoly on power. He remembers well the images of a collapsing Soviet Union.
• A new formula: Xi Jinping is now merging race, the party, and the nation into one entity. The "Red Gene" campaign launched in Army and students has merged nationalism and communist party agenda.
• Cultural identity: Xi reminded delegates from various provinces of China (e.g. Inner Mongolia) during the 2021 National People's Congress that "cultural identity is the deepest form of identity, and the root and soul of ethnic unity and harmony." So, all efforts are to be made to achieve ethnic unity, including similar textbooks in schools.
• Next step: Soon, Xi's colleague Wang Yang travelled to Xinjiang-Uighur Autonomous Region, and travelled to six cities in six days. He ordered party cadres to ensure that "Xinjiang is governed now for a new era" and that "Islam adapts to Chinese socialist society". He wants to promote Mandarin now.
• Language the key: The CCP is now erasing all minority languages of ethnic minorities, and replacing them with only Mandarin. 

1. Young students from Tibet and Xinjiang are being sent to Chinese mainland for education
2. They are bombarded with the "Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era"
3. On target are TAR, XUAR and IMAR regions. Mongolian language is now removed from IMAR, replaced with Mandarin.

• Protests: Students and citizens of Inner Mongolia protestested on a large scale. They fear total extinguishing of their culture now. But the CCP is not only after their language, it wants to erase their religion too, and replace it with Chinese Han culture alone. Very bad times lie ahead.
• Assimilate faster: The CCP is now pushing party cadres and officials in all ethnic minority dominated regions to speed up assimilation. Explicit ban on regional books on culture and history is now being implemented, which means a hard erasure of identities.
• Worldwide impact: A French museum was forced to postpone the October 2020 exhibition on the history of Genghis Khan titled "Son of the sky and steppes: Genghis Khan and the birth of an empire". China had objected to the terms used - Genghis Khan, empire and Mongolian.
• Killing the Tibetan spirit: The CCP is constantly pushing the Tibetans to recognise its own role in selecting the next Dalai Lama (i.e. the reincarnation of present one). It is constantly forcing more sinicisation of these identities.
• Summary: The Chinese communists are accelerating the assimilation process for ethnic minorities, with the goal of killing all diversity, and painting everyone with just one colour - Mandarin, Han, Communism.
